About Drawings
The Drawings workflow provides users with a centralized location for managing all project plans throughout their lifecycle. Teams can upload plans, automatically track revisions, and ensure the most current plans are always available to the project team.

What You Can Do with Drawings
Upload and manage all project plans in one centralized location.
Automatically track drawing revisions and view the latest plans by default.
Organize drawings into separate areas for different lots, buildings, or layouts within the same project.
View, search, and compare drawings using built-in tools.
Collaborate using markups, topics, RFIs, and quality list items directly on drawings.
Drawing Sets and Revisions
Drawings are uploaded in sets that reflect plan updates over time. When revised sheets share the same sheet number, Constructable tracks them as revisions and displays the latest version by default, while keeping previous versions available for reference.

Organizing Drawings
Drawing Areas help organize plans for projects that include multiple layouts within the same job site, such as different lots, buildings, or units. All drawings in a single Drawing Area are accessed through a main superset view, which serves as the primary workspace for managing project plans.

Note: In the superset, you can switch from the default list view to a thumbnail view to see what each sheet looks like more clearly.
Viewing and Comparing Drawings
The Drawing Viewer includes tools that help teams review plans efficiently. Drawings can be viewed in split view, overlaid to compare revisions or different types of plans, and quickly searched to locate relevant information.
One of our many tools in Drawings is the ability to overlay different types of plans, not just revisions. See the overlay above between a Structural plan and an Electrical plan.
Collaboration on Drawings
The Drawings workflow acts as a collaboration hub for the project team. Markups, topics, RFIs, and quality list items can be created and viewed directly on drawings, keeping communication tied to the plans themselves.
